This Saturday Alvechurch welcome Corby Town to Lye Meadow, for the second qualifying round of the FA Cup. Here is everything you need to know about the game.

How have both teams been playing?

Despite struggling against Stourbridge on Tuesday, Alvechurch did manage to get a draw out of the game extending their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions. As well as this, the clean sheet means that they have kept five clean sheets in those seven games, meaning they head into Saturday's game in good form. Another plus for Ian Long's team is that Dave Bellis, who was forced off on Tuesday, and Josh Ezwele, who missed the game due to a groin injury, are expected to be back for the game.

Corby meanwhile, come into the game still unbeaten this season having won every league game they have played this season, to sit second in the Division One central league. As well as this they come into the game on a six game winning run; and dispatched off Hertford Town and Dunstable Town in the previous FA Cup rounds to reach this stage, albeit they needed a replay against the latter.

How have these teams done before in the FA Cup?

Both teams have reached Round 3 off the FA Cup in the past, with that being the furthest they have ever gone in the competition. In recent years, Alvechurch reached the third round qualifying round last season; the first time they have progressed beyond the second qualifying round since the 1991-1992 season; where ironically they defeated Corby 2-0 in the competition that year. Corby though, last progressed to the third round qualifying stage five years ago.

What has the score been in previous meetings between the two sides?

Both sides met twice in league action last season. Corby won the first game 3-1, while Church picked up a 1-0 win at Lye Meadow thanks to an Ashley Carter goal.

What time is kick-off?

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Where is the game being played?

The game is being played at Lye Meadow.

How much are tickets?

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £7 for seniors (65+), £5 for students with ID and children aged 13-17 and free for under 13's.
