A great week for Church ends with 4-0 win v Peterborough Sports
After draw at Stamford and then victory at Frickley, Church eased their way to a 4-0 win at home to Peterborough courtesy of a hat-trick from Yusifu Ceesay
Manager, Ian Long made one change to the starting line up that beat Frickley Athletic on Tuesday night, replacing Price in goal with Gwilliams.
Church started the game brightly with Carter heading a Turton corner wide in the first minute.
In the 13' Nadat cut the ball back to March who fired high over the bar.
A poor ball from March in the 17' gave Jordan Macleod a chance but he shot wide.
Church took the lead in the 22' when Jusifu Ceesay was put through on the left and drawing George off his line, side footed past him with Nadat following in to make sure.
Church doubled their lead in the 30' with a free kick that was touched by Turton to Ash Carter, who shot took a deflection before finding the net to make it 2-0.
In the 33' Moreman hit a daisy cutter that was comfortably saved by Gwilliams.
In the 37' Nadat and Peterborough captain Richard Jones clashed on the left with Jones picking up a yellow card for aggression.
The game and 3 points were all but sealed after 39' when Nadat set up Cessay to score his second and Church's third.
In the 44' Nadat had a chance after Yates set him up, but it went over the bar.

Jones picked up his second yellow and red card after a cynical challenge on March in the 56'.
After their recent endeavours, Church eased off the gas a little and strolled to a comfortable victory.

In the 59' Macleod should have pulled one back but after being put clean through, hit a poor effort straight at Gwilliams.
In the 62' Mark Jones won a header on to Macleod who was getting into some good positions, but again shot wide.

In the 83' Peterborough subs Hilliard and Medwynter linked with the latters header saved by Gwilliams.
All that remained was to see if Ceesay could complete his hat-trick and it came in the 3rd minute of stoppage time, when after seeing his first shot saved by George, he prodded the rebound home to the delight of the Church faithful behind the goal to make it 4-0.
