This Saturday is non-league day as Alvechurch take on St Ives Town. Here is everything you need to know about the game; and come down to support the Church!
How have both teams been playing?
Tuesday night's defeat to Highgate United in the Birmingham Senior Cup may have been a disappointment; but Church can take a silver lining from the game having got to look at a number of players; including 16 year old Ben Cassidy who became the club's youngest ever player after a 20 minute cameo. As well as this the club have been boosted by the signing of Andre Landel from Rushall Olympic's so will be looking to build on last week's win over Barwell to potentially climb into the play-off places.
St Ives meanwhile, sit 12th into the league coming into the game after an inconsistent run so far this season. A good start to the season has seen them tail off, with last week's FA Cup defeat to York meaning it is only one win in five games and are winless in the league since August; a run stretching to six games.
Who are both side's top goalscorers?
Josh March, Kieran Cook, and Tom Turton are Alvechurch's top goalscorers this season with three goals each.
Ben Seymour-Shove is St Ives top goalscorer with four goals this season.
Where is the game being played?
The game is being played at Lye Meadow.
What time is kick-off?
Kick-off is at 3pm.
How much are tickets?
Tickets for the game are £5 blanket prices, specially for non league day.
