Alvechurch eased into the final of the Worcester Senior Cup with a comfortable win over Kidderminster Harriers.
The visitors opted to bring a youthful side to Lye Meadow, but were clinically put away by Ian Long's side thanks to a hat-trick from Tom Turton, and goals from Joshua March, Dan O'Callaghan and Kieran Cook.
The game also provided a good chance for the players to get more minutes under their belt ahead of the new season.
Church started off quickly, with March being brought down in the box, allowing Turton to score from the spot. Straight from the kick-off O'Callaghan then took advantage of a mix up in the Kidderminster defence to score his second goal in three games.
Long's side continued to push, with O'Callaghan heading over and March being after good pressing. This pressure paid off as Church were awarded another penalty for a foul on O'Callaghan. Just as he did with the first Turton kept his cool from the spot, before March superbly curled home to give Alvechurch a big half-time lead.
The second half started the same as the first half with Alvechurch remarkably being given a third penalty. Turton made no mistake as he completed his hat-trick of spot kicks. The home side continued to create chances with Yates going close on two occasion; before the lively Kieran Cook slotted home to complete the victory.
The performance was a dominant one by Alvechurch and they will now play either Evesham United or Redditch United in the final. They next play on Tuesday 24th July in a pre-season friendly against Bromsgrove Sporting at Lye Meadow.
