Alvechurch and Stratford Town battled out a draw at Lye Meadow in the FA trophy.
With these sides already meeting twice prior to this game, they both cancelled out other out and Michael Taylor's header earned the visitors a draw after Josh March had given Church the lead.
It was the home side who created the first chance of the half, with Jamie Willet's heading against the post and Mitch Botfield firing wide from range. In response to this Stratford winger Lewis Wilson fired over from the edge of the box before Alvechurch took the lead.
From a corner, March lost his marker to head in his fourth goal of the season and give Church a half-time lead. Stratford soon equalised after the re-start though in similar fashion. From the corner Taylor headed in the equaliser for his eight goal of the season. The game then petered out with both side's not creating much. However, in the last minute March was brought down in the box but the referee waved away any Alvechurch appeals.
The result means these side's will play again this Tuesday to decide who will go into the second qualifying round of the FA trophy.
