After taking a deserved 1-0 lead at half time, 12 calamitous minutes in the second half ruined all the good work of the first half

With 2 enforced changes to the starting line-up after last weeks injuries to Jack Hallahan and Harry Williams, Jamie Willets started at centre-back and Peter Taylor came into midfield.
Church got off to a dream start when Tyrell Skeen-Hamilton took on the Coalville defence and fired a low shot into the corner past White, to put Church 1-0 up.
A big decision went against Church, when again, Hamilton was attacking the Coalville defence, but after getting the better of his marker and about to shoot, referee, Tom Hales whistled for a foul against the Church striker.
And so it remained 1-0 instead of 2-0 at half time, which would have been a more just score-line for Church.

Coalville management took action, bringing on George Wilson and Luke Shaw at half time, and how they changed the game.
Coalville equalised from the spot after 54' when Shaw was harshly judged to have been brought down inside the box by Tom Edge, even though it looked like he clearly won the ball. Ashley Chambers scored low into the corner to equalise.
A couple of minutes later Coalville went ahead, when the normally assured Ash Carter , dwelled on the ball before passing back but only into the path of Luke Shaw to put the hosts ahead.
The third goal came in the 64', when again Luke Shaw was found clear on the right and presented with the simple task of finishing to make it 3-1.
Another individual error in the 66' this time from Pete Taylor, again dwelling on the ball before being robbed and sliding the ball through to Tom McGlinchey who made it 4-1.

Coalville fully deserved their win in the end and the changes they made, particularly with Luke Shaw, turned the game for them, but individual errors, sloppy defending cost Church dear on a blistering hot day that proved too much in the end for Church.
