Tuesday night's defeat to Stratford Town saw Alvechurch exit a second cup competition in as many weeks but there was a silver-lining to it; with manager Ian Long getting to look at some youngsters such as 16 year old Ben Cassidy who grabbed his first goal for the Church. In the league however, Long's side are sitting just outside the play-off places following two wins in a row and will be looking to make it three against Bedworth.

Bedworth meanwhile have struggled so far this season. Sitting bottom of the table, they have yet to win this season and were dispatched off by Stourbridge on Monday night. However, as shown in last Saturday's draw against Hitchin, they are capable of doing damage to teams back-lines, especially with former Alvechurch striker Daniel Dubidat in their ranks.

The Ground is one and a half miles from M6 Junction 3. Take the B4113 Coventry-Bedworth road towards Bedworth, At the roundabout take the first main exit following signs to Bedworth. After the third set of traffic lights (Bedworth Leisure Centre), the ground is 200 yards on the right hand side opposite a cemetry.
