Alvechurch's three match unbeaten league run came to an end; as Kings Lynn resided Ian Long's men to a second 3-0 defeat this week.
Following Tuesday night's FA Trophy defeat to Stratford Town, Alvechurch again found themselves three goals down at half time thanks to a brace from Ryan Hawkins and a goal from Adam Marriott. Despite this however, they were notable improvements from the game in midweek.
It was Church who created the first chance of the game when Luke Yates cut inside and fired over. The visitors responded with Hawkins hitting the crossbar before taking the lead. Hawkins found space to cross to Michael Gash, whose shot was excellently saved by Charlie Price, but Marriott was on hand to put the re-bound in.
Things then got worse for the home side, as they failed to deal with a long ball allowing Hawkins to slip in and double Kings Lynn's lead. Hawkins then grabbed a second before half-time to give Alvechurch a huge task in the second-half.
They did improve, but were unable to create a meaningful chance. Josh March fired wide with a snapshot, while Kyle Morrison was inches away from making contact with a Mitch Botfield free-kick. Despite this however, the game ended with the damage done in the first half.
The result means Alvechurch still remain just outside the play-off places and they will be looking for a win next week against Rushall Olympic.
