Andre Landell's header a minute from time earnt Alvechurch a dramatic win over Lowestoft and saw them return to the play-off places.
In difficult windy conditions, the home side took a first half lead through Kieran Higgs, but second half goals from Jamie Willets and Landell saw Ian Long's side claim a first win in three games.
It took just eight minutes for Lowestoft to take the lead. Taking advantage of a misplaced pass, Higgs ran at the Church back-line before curling it excellently into the top corner.
The visitors then proceeded to dominate possession, but could not create a real chance; with Theo Llewellan firing wide from range and Lowestoft keeper Elvijs Putnins saving easily from Kieran Cook.
Lowestoft then thought they had a second, when the windy conditions led to a Willets clearance coming back to Shaun Bammant; who headed in. However, linesman Murray Grant ruled that the ball had previously gone out of play as the half ended.
The second half saw Alvechurch again dominate possession, but it wasn't until the 70th minute that they finally got an equaliser. A Tom Turton corner caused havoc in the Lowestoft box, and Willets was on hand to head in his second goal of the season.
This set up a dramatic finish, with both teams pushing for the win. Lowestoft substitute Ben Fowkes curled wide, while Dave Bellis had a shot cleared of the line. It was the visitors who got the winner however, again from a corner. This time Willets was the provider flicking the ball on to Landell who nodded the ball in to secure all three points for the Church.
Long will be hoping his players can keep up this momentum when they welcome Leiston to Lye Meadow.
