Alvechurch picked up their third win in a row with a comfortable victory away to St Neots Town.
A brace from Lee Chilton in the second half added to Kieran Cooks' first half header as Church controlled the game from the start. The only downside for Ian Long will be the sending off of Ash Carter for apparent dissent.
The action started early for Alvechurch with Josh March hitting the bar from a corner within in the first ten minutes. Three minutes later Cook headed the ball into the bottom corner from a free-kick. Cook was making his first appearance of 2019 and looked for another goal, but fired over the before; before Josh March forced Finley Iron into an easy save.
The second half threatened to be overshadowed by both teams having their captains sent off. Firstly, Luke Knight was shown a second yellow card, before Carter was shown a straight red card for disagreeing with the linesman on the decision of a corner. In between both of these red cards however, Alvechurch had stepped up their level of play and Tom Turton's excellent cross was headed in by Lee Chilton.
St Neots then nearly grabbed a goal for a nervy finish but Tom Wood could only stab the ball against the crossbar before a brilliant passing move was finished off by Chilton who grabbed his second of the game and Church's third to seal an empathetic away victory.
The win moves Church onto 42 points for the season and with their next three games being at home they will be looking to add to this, starting with Tuesday's game against Stratford Town; the side's sixth meeting of the season.
