Aaron Llyod came of the bench to score a stoppage time winner as Alvechurch beat Rushall Olympic.
The last time this two side's met Kieran Cook had scored a late winner for Church, and fate repeated itself as Llyod was quickest to react to a lose ball in the box to fire the ball in and extend Church's unbeaten run to five games.
The first half saw a host of chances for both side's. Simson Maye headed over from a corner for the visitors, then minutes later headed onto the crossbar. Alvechurch responded with former Rushall striker Andre Landell testing Joseph Slinn from range and then hit the bar with a looping header.
Rushall then had a number of golden opportunities to take the lead. Former Alvechurch man Danny O'Callaghan was denied by a brilliant block on the line from Rahis Nabi, before Dan Crane denied Tyler Lyttle. Crane then pulled off a stunning save to deny O'Callaghan from point blank range just before the half ended.
In the second half a downpour occurred, which hampered both teams chances of creating chances. Massiah McDonald had a weak header saved by Crane before Mitch Botfield fired well wide from range.
The game then looked to be heading for a goalless draw, until the 94th minute. Tom Turton's free kicked wasn't dealt with by Rushall and dropped to Llyod at the back post who fired in past Slinn for a dramatic winner.
The win moves Alvechurch into the play-off places and they will be looking to make it six games unbeaten when they welcome Leiston to Lye Meadow on Tuesday.
