Josh March scored a brace as Alvechurch produced a brilliant attacking performance to see off Lowestoft Town.
With both teams needing three points for contrasting reason's the game took a while to see any real chances, with Dave Bellis firing over the bar from range. However, after 28 minutes Alvechurch took the lead, with a well worked move being finished off by Kieran Cook who scored for the second game in a row.
Lowestoft responded quickly however, with Daniel Crane saving Dylan Williams fine strike, before the ball fell to Adam Tann who scored the re-bound. Just like Lowestoft Alvechurch bounced back from conceding, with Ash Carter heading home from a fine Tom Turton cross to give Ian Long's side a half-time lead.
Alvechurch started the second half superbly with Cook playing in March who unleashed a stunning strike into the top corner to give them a two goal lead. Cook and Turton were then both denied by Elvijs Putin in the Lowestoft goal; while March headed a golden opportunity over the bar.
March however made up for that miss, as he got on the end of another superb Turton delivery to grab his second of the game. Lowestoft then got one back through Kyle Barker's deflected strike but were unable to apply any real threat to Church's lead.
The win see's Long's side got back into the play-off places and they will be hoping to secure another victory against Barwell next week.
